RM of Montmartre’s story
The Rural Municipality of Montmartre No. 126 was incorporated on December 13, 1909. It lies in the southeast part of Saskatchewan along Highway 48.
Within its boundaries are the villages of Kendal and Montmartre, along with the organized hamlet of Candiac. The RM's office is in Montmartre, and its council meets on the second Tuesday of each month. The RM sits beside the Assiniboine 76 First Nations reserve, and Kemoca Regional Park offers recreation for residents and visitors.
